    Argent Park is the most personal of all my work. It is images from an entire world where the flora and fauna are all forms of living, jeweled metal. The ideas are based on real life, with the basic structure of the animals designed as realistically as possible, but then using the flow and form of the body and shape, I change them into the fantastical creatures you see here. These are probably the most labor-intensive of my work, individual pieces sometimes taking literally months to complete. The largest print available Argent Park was also the first done in this style, and was the first thing I had ever drawn that, when I had finished, I realized I had drawn something I had never seen before. Everything here flowed from that first piece.
    As well as all the images on this page, I did an entire series in the Argent style based on the Twelve Days of Christmas, which you'll find in the Christmas Themes section. Plus there are other Argent images contained in the "Outlines of Fantasy" coloring book collection.
